On March 14, 2026, our Hambrick LOTC cadets competed in the final district competition of the year.
Each team performed above and beyond expectations and received the following awards:
- 1st place in Armed Exhibition
- 1st place in Armed Regulation
- 2nd place in Armed Inspection
- 2nd place in Unarmed Inspection
- 2nd place in Unarmed Regulation
- 2nd place in Unarmed Exhibition
- 2nd place in Color Guard Inspection
- 2nd place in Physical Fitness
We are very proud to announce that the Hambrick LOTC also achieved 2nd place Overall for the competition!
We would like to give shoutouts to all of our team leaders:
- Colonel Kimberly Wences, Team Leader of Color Guard and Battalion Commander, for guiding her team through strict practice every day and made sure they stayed on track, being a good role model for her team.
- 2nd Lieutenant Perla Martinez, Team Leader of Armed, for always being strict about her training, making sure every single person in her team understood the routine and the importance of being professional at the drill pad, and for always making everyone feel included.
- Command Sergeant Major Jennifer Tiu, Team Leader of Unarmed, for disciplining her team to exceed above and beyond during competitions, always keeping her team intact and bonded.
- 2nd Lieutenant Pablo Escobar, Team leader of Physical Training, for leading his team through hard training and endurance every day of the week.
