Hambrick Middle School’s Family and Community Engagement program is hosting a Winter Wellness Land Health Fair in effort to connect Hambrick students and families with available community resources. As the country, and our community, are still dealing with the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, many medical venues see the need and want to provide our community members with as much information and assistance as possible. Families who need specific medical care, such as immunizations, referrals for health screenings, wellness exams, etc. should make plans to attend and get some valuable information about these types of services.
HOPE Clinic, Harris County Children’s Youth Services, Vision Source, a melaleuca representative, and HCEMS will be available to share information with everyone in attendance.
Hambrick’s LOTC instructor, Msg. Patterson, will host some boot camp classes, encouraging physical activity. There will also be healthy food choices demonstrations, and more.
The Winter Wellness Land Health Fair will take place on Saturday, December 12 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm in the parking lot at Hambrick Middle School.
